"Antchain Inside"! First RWA On-chain Technical Specification Standard Project Established

Announcement2026-03-14
This "Specification" was jointly initiated by China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and Ant Digital Technology, with nearly 20 companies including China Mobile IoT, Inzen Technology, Skyworth Photovoltaic, GCL Energy, Hangtai Digital Intelligence, Trina Solar, and Fibocom Wireless.

Targeting on-chain scenarios for physical assets such as manufacturing equipment and energy equipment. The "Specification" systematically proposes a full-process technical framework for data on-chain for the first time, building a trusted digital foundation for the trillion-dollar scale RWA market.

The "Specification" requires that

The asset production data mapped behind RWA should be directly obtained from certified IoT devices to ensure the data is authentic and trustworthy; operational data should be able to mutually verify with IoT data to simultaneously confirm its authenticity; after device source data and business data are verified and confirmed to be correct, they circulate on the blockchain, the data transmission process is traceable and tamper-proof, thereby achieving the mapping from real-world assets to on-chain digital assets.

More specifically—

Device "on-chain" data needs to simultaneously satisfy "integrity", "validity", and "timeliness". IoT data should be able to completely reflect device status and production information, operational data should be able to completely reflect operational structure, and data content should be able to truly reflect the current status of assets and be uploaded in a timely manner according to the agreed frequency.

Data on-chain devices need to be certified in advance and be given a unique "identity authentication" identifier, officially registered as trusted devices, and device on-chain is often achieved through built-in trusted SDKs, including on the hardware side such as device microcontroller units (MCUs), modules, chips, and hardware-side OS systems.

In fact, Ant Digital Technology has long practiced this specification in its RWA business and has already applied it on a large scale in charging piles, photovoltaics, and battery swap assets. Currently, the number of new energy on-chain devices supported by Ant Digital Technology has exceeded 12 million units.

In the future, we look forward to working with more industry partners to accelerate the development of China's new energy industry through RWA technology, attract global capital to participate in the construction of China's new energy industry, and promote domestic new energy technologies and products to further go global and be applied and promoted worldwide.
